Peerke's Place has been a family gathering spot for years. Our father Peerke built the house in 2005, and for a long time it was where we came together to relax, eat, and swim. Now we are opening it to guests. It is still our family's place, and we hope it will feel like a home away from home for you too.

The villa sits in the hills of Bophut, in the northeast of Koh Samui. You get privacy, a private infinity pool, and a panoramic sea view, with the island's restaurants and beaches a short drive away. Our motto for your stay is simple: Relax, Recharge and Return.

Inside: space for families and friends

The main living area, the kitchen and two bedrooms are on the upper floor. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, and one of them has both a bathtub and a walk-in shower. The panoramic terrace is right next to the living area, so breakfast with a view is easy.

Downstairs you will find a third bedroom with a small kitchenette and a bathroom, which works well for older children, a friend, or someone who wants extra privacy. All three bedrooms have air conditioning and a queen-size bed.

The kitchen is fully equipped: fridge and freezer, a combi microwave, an espresso machine, a Dolce Gusto machine, a kettle, a toaster, and all the dishes and utensils you need. You will also find a washing machine, a hair dryer, towels, bathrobes, and complimentary shower gel and shampoo. There is a Smart TV (without broadcast channels) and a set of board games for slower evenings. For families with small children, we can provide a baby bed and a highchair.

Outside: pool, terrace and sea view

Most of your time will probably be spent outdoors. The infinity pool is for your group only, and there are sunbeds and an outdoor shower next to it. In the evening you can sit on the terrace and watch the light change over the sea.

The hillside location keeps the villa quiet and private. It is a peaceful base, not a busy beach strip.

Working from the villa

Many of our guests combine a holiday with a few hours of work, and the villa suits that well. There is fibre WiFi, a dining table you can use as a desk, and a shaded terrace with a view for breaks. What is nearby

The villa is quiet, but you are not far from the action. With a car or scooter (we recommend one, because of the hillside location), these are some places to visit:

Fisherman's Village, Bophut: about 10 minutes away, with atmospheric restaurants and live music in the evening
Chaweng: about 15 minutes to the beach, the shopping mall and the restaurants
Crystal Bay and Silver Beach: close by, and considered among the island's best beaches
Choeng Mon Beach: about 25 minutes away, quiet and clean, perfect for a lazy afternoon
Big Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Yai): a short drive, with its 12-metre golden Buddha
Ang Thong Marine Park: a day trip to 42 islands for snorkelling and kayaking
Eranda Herbal Spa: a nearby spa that we recommend

Your local host and extra services

During your stay, a local host is available for questions and help on the island. If you would like a little extra, we can arrange a private chef, an on-site massage, laundry service, housekeeping (as often as you like), and an airport transfer.

We like to keep costs clear. Final cleaning is included in your stay. Electricity and water are metered separately, as is usual in Thailand, and are not a source of profit for us: we share the meter readings with you before your stay and settle up on the last day.

Is the pool private? Yes. The infinity pool belongs to the villa and is only for our guests.

Do I need a car or scooter? We recommend renting a car or scooter, because the villa is in the hills. There is private parking and a garage at the house, and we can arrange an airport transfer.

Are electricity and water included in the price? No. They are metered separately and settled on your last day, based on the meter readings we share with you in advance.
